|Vigil's Manufacturing is one branch of family owned business located in Taos, New Mexico. Established in 1992 by James and Donna Vigil as “Vigil's Iron Works”, the business quickly grew from welding to metal fabrications. Just as his father’s business, James took on the same pride and traits as his father Tony Vigil did with “Tony and Sons” established in the 1960’s. Tony determined to drill wells, did not have the money to purchase a drilling rig. Utilizing his resources, along with old spare parts and fabricating those he did not have, he built his own rig. Low and behold with that he began to drill wells and became the well driller he was so determined to be. Sadly, in 1977 Tony tragically passed away.
James along with his two brothers, Gil with Vigil’s Welding and Well Drilling, and Filbert with Vigil’s Towing Unlimited have all worked together to benefit each other as well as their surrounding community. Utilizing the knowledge, experiences and pride left by their father. Each business has become a business Tony would be proud of. Utilizing each of their specialties, they work together to provide a quality job and a quality product. Just as “Tony and Sons” did back in the 1960’s.
Today Vigil's Manufacturing has built and fabricated items that customers have asked for and dreamed up. As you will see in the photos below, these are only a few examples of what we can do. From flatbeds that dump, to custom bumpers and a stage made for well-known musicians such as "Darren Cordova y Color". Recently we have been chosen to manufacture a unique and one of a kind well drilling mud pit to be displayed at the NWGE 54th Annual Convention & Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada. View this along with many other items we have manufactured below and contact us via email for anything you see here or can dream up. Nothing is too big or too small.
